Course 1 - DocCompliance Application Administration
Course Description

A 2½ day lecture/lab course, providing a complete overview of the core operations of DocCompliance and a general overview of integrated components and tools.

The course focuses on the basic operations, fundamentals and common practices for administering, configuring and deploying a validatable content management system.

The course starts off with a technical introduction to the basic operations of DocCompliance, with a general

overview of the product architecture, content management functionality, user interface and the underlying technical structure. Next, attendees will learn how to use DocCompliance to perform the basic document management tasks that end users will use, such as: document creation, editing, review and annotation, document approval, searching and printing.

Finally, attendees will learn DocCompliance administration tasks, with a firm foundation in common configuration practices.

Course Length

2½ days which includes continental breakfast and lunch.

Course 2 - Good Configuration Practices and a Bonus Overview of QUMAS Integrations and Tools, Integrated Products and Services Course Description

Building on the learning from the Application Administration Course. This 1½ day lecture/lab course provides QUMAS' methodology of converting user requirements into validated configuration. This course will introduce two document templates used by QUMAS Global Services group for recording configuration decisions: The Application Configuration Specification (ACS) and Trace Matrix. The course will provide copies of these documents and instruction on how to use them to ensure a validatable system design. Next attendees will be assisted in creating document and workflow type configuration that matches their own requirements. This configuration will be documented in the ACS document and tested by creating and approving a document.

Learning Objectives

Who Should Attend

This course is intended for application administrators, core project team members, super users and application trainers. This course does NOT require prior DocCompliance experience or knowledge.

Course Length

Four days which includes continental breakfast and lunch.

Course Level

Attendees should have familiarity with: MS Office products, MS Windows, Web browser/application server technology and business process concepts. Attendees should also be familiar with basic document management terminology and the requirements for indexing and approving documents within their own organization.

Fee

Send three or more participants and save an additional 5%. * To obtain the Group Rate, 3 or more attendees from the same company must register at the same time.
